Spiratex Announces 48,000-Square-Foot Expansion at Monroe Facility

Spiratex Spiratex, a southeast Michigan-based custom thermoplastic extrusion manufacturer, is doubling the size of its Monroe-area Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) manufacturing facility. The project includes a 48,000-square-foot addition to the manufacturing operation, 17 new production lines and a 3,000-square-foot office expansion. The expansion will allow Spiratex to respond to the growing demand for UHMWPE extrusions and conveyor guiderail production. Strong growth in custom extrusions, combined with increasing demand for standard components, is driving the expansion.

Contiform 3: the new generation of blow-molders is market ready

Contiform The Contiform 3 is the latest generation of Krones’ stretch blow-moulding machine series. It is available on the market as of now in a purposefully, in some parts entirely redesigned version of the individual process steps involved. The blow-moulding module has been entirely revamped. The field-proven linear oven of the Contiform S/H series has been design-enhanced and principally optimised in regard to its energy consumption.

REIS Special robot RH for extraction at die casting machines

Reis The RH series was completely revised by REIS with regard to the successful use as removal, insertion, and spray robot in the casting foundry. The series comprises two robot types with 6 axes up to a load capacity of 130 kg, as well as two robot types with 4 basic axes for load capacities up to 300 kg. The basic units with four axes can be equipped with an additional fifth casting axis and are mainly used as casting robots for gravity die casting.
